Sound is made up of vibrations, or sound waves, that we can hear. We use fun hands-on activities to help children discover how sound travels and how our ears pick it up.

General objectives

After this lesson, child will be able to:

  • Identify different types of sound according to materials that produce them
  • Making some instruments that make sound
  • Discuss why sound waves are important and make related projects and experiments
