The National Students STEM Expo - 2020 provides opportunities for Students, Parents, Companies, Civil Society and Community members to engage in STEM Activities:
The Expo aims to promote engagement in STEM through workshops and displays, as well as through networking.
The school outreach will provide STEM resources to over 30 schools in Rwanda with experts to promote STEM subjects. The program is committed to collaborating with schools and industry on STEM Education programs and encouraging future generations of Rwanda to combine their passions with STEM skills.
The school outreach is an opportunity for your organization to create relationship with schools, share information about your services or products with schools and start making distribution, sales and helping school enhancing STEM subjects in classroom.
Over 300 science teachers will be guided on how enriching STEM curriculum through innovative activities for students, available learning and teaching resources as well as enriching educator’s skills on engaging and motivating their students.
Teachers are the most significant influence in student learning. To produce good quality of education and make your education platform or solution sustainable, it’s is vital to empower teachers, those who will constantly learning, and enhancing their teaching skills.
The National Students STEM Expo 2020 invites over 10,000 students in primary, secondary, TVET schools and universities to participate! While engaging in STEM projects, students will have an opportunity to design hands-on projects while exploring just how fun STEM can be! Students will be guided at their respective schools through project-based learning activities.
Getting students excited about STEM education benefits all of us. It elevates our education system while equipping future generations with vital knowledge and skills to thrive in our competitive global economy.
Young children are born scientists. Every time they build a block tower, or doing tech experiment, they are investigating how the world works and building critical-thinking skills.
The STEM TV Shows helps students learn how to develop an idea, plan an experiment and conduct that experiment. They learn how to keep a logbook, analyze data, and create charts. AND they gain important communication skills!
Parents will also play an important role in encouraging their children to watch the TV shows and be inspired by other students.
The STEM competition is a nationwide
competition that brings together teams of
students in science and technology to solve
community problems in an intense and
competitive way.
It will be a great honor for your institution to
support STEM industry in Rwanda. It is also an
opportunity for tech companies preparing
future engineers.
Students from all around the county will
participate in the National Students STEM
Expo 2020. The Showcase is structured like a
science fair, where visitors and guests could
freely visit all of the booths to see many
exciting projects created by students.
Making STEM project is one of the best learning
experiences a student can undertake. And, if it is
taken seriously, it can be an excellent way to
earn significant prizes, qualify for scholarships,
and job.
The government is investing heavily in STEM education to ensure our economy remain competitive in the years to come. The panel discussion will outline key priorities and successful models for scaling up industry contribution to STEM enrichment and enhancement activities, within the formal STEM education and the informal field (e.g. science fairs and festivals), by engaging with schools and other science education stakeholders in the community.
As an organization you will be able to raise your profile with a wide range of audiences from government, private sector and civil society. You will have time to provide a platform for STEM engagement and propose it to other stakeholders.
